MY FAMILY AND THE WOLF

In a few days we will be attending the CARTOON MOVIE at Lyon to present a new project “My family and the wolf”.

We´re developing it along a brand new production company “Nectarious Films” and a bunch of french artists we are not worthy... it´s been a really great experience.

Here you have a little sneak peek but  real soon we´ll share the whole presentation.

The ghost of the Christmas past...

A little bit of Headless history:

More than 3 years ago we made a teaser for what would be Headless´ first project “The strange case of dad´s missing head”. It was our first piece as Headless (hence the name of the studio) and we did it with much love and the help of our regulars Julien Bizat and Pablo Navarro.

That was more than 3 years ago! Oh boy, we suddenly got dizzy…

The project still moving around trying to find some finance and although we have really cool people involved and everyone seems to respond positively, these days is not obvious to produce a movie.

But it´s not time for tears now! It´s Christmas and we thought “what the heck!” it´s about time to blow the dust covering it and show it to the world as a sort of end of the year gift to all the nice people that write us to tell us amazing things and all the friends that support us.

It was about time to show something freshly baked, we know. Don´t blame on us, it´s busy times and we can´t develop original material as much as we´d like. We´ll keep trying though, we promise.

Just a couple of PR announcements.

First, we have a renewed webpage. Still in progress but we hope to achieve one day a place where to go back regularly. Btw, check out the portfolio gallery.

Second, you can follow us on Facebook now (yeah we jumped on that bandwagon too). We´ll try to use it as a bulleting board of sorts for all Headless relatednews.

Straight from the vault

Ok, we admit it, It´s been way too long since last time we posted anything. Good news is we´ve been very busy working; bad news we can´t show anything yet but we promise that when the time comes we´ll be happy to share with you all the new material.

We thought perhaps was the perfect time to share some old work. We know it´s lame but at the same time we have tons of art research from “Nocturna” that we never had the chance to show. The movie came out in 2007 and as only a hand full of people watched it (that includes our families) maybe all this material comes as new to some.

We directed and art directed the movie and as always we had Julien Bizat making the character design look good.
